As the Nazis begin their rise to power in the late 1920s, American writer Clifford Bradshaw visits Berlin. He has arrived in search of inspiration when he happens upon Sally Bowles at a cabaret called the Kit Kat Klub. She ends up moving in with him in a boarding house run by Fräulein Schneider and her suitor, Herr Schultz, a Jewish fruit-shop owner. As the Nazis grow stronger, everything is thrown into disarray. Overseeing the action is the Emcee, who presides over the show as master of ceremonies of the Kit Kat Klub. Cabaret has a memorable Kander & Ebb score and Fosse dance numbers, recreated for our production by Michael Rosen. Our Cabaret will be sensual and intoxicating, upbeat at the outset and chilling in its conclusion. Cast
