The Hours

by Adapted by Rora Brodwin and Ellie Boswell

Poster of The Hours

The Hours, an adaption of Michael Cunningham’s book, tells the story of three women whose lives span the 20th century. In the suburbs of London in 1923, Virginia Woolf writes Mrs. Dalloway. In Los Angeles in 1949, Laura Brown reads Mrs. Dalloway. And in NYC in 1999, a modern Clarissa Dalloway prepares for her party. In following one day in the lives of each of these women and their loved ones, we witness the intricacies, ecstasy, and pain of ordinary existence.
